fire and brimstone

Today is the strangest day in LA. There was a huge fire in the hills, and it's almost like it's snowing outside - ash is falling from the sky all over. I thought I'd take a nice walk and get some "Fresh Air" - so much for that. And even though it's a warm sunny day, it's all smoky and brown outside. I didn't have a good fire and brimstone picture to use, but I thought I'd use this one, since Jason took it at a house that had been badly burned in a fire. It's weird - there's a Bible in it, and the Bible looks like it's in pretty good shape. I like the picture though because it would look like a normal windowsill, until you notice that there's no window in the pane and that little things are wrong in the picture...

Dude! You got nothing on the fire and brimstone while Los Angeles burns once again....

evocative little description there, snowing ashes.

Is the Hollywood sign really about to burn? That's what the radio said here.

I work at Warner Bros. and saw the whole dang fire from my office. It was wicked cool. The smoke was gnarly. I'm so glad the hollywood sign didn't burn down. And dang what about Griffith park burning up this week over 400 acres or something like that. And today Catalina! There's def a lot of brimstone going on. All I can say is what's up with that?
