wrong holiday
I always like to leave something happy for the weekend, and to me animals and kids are about the happiest things that exist in the world. I love the little guy in this photo. I think it's a groundhog, right? Just in time for Halloween. What I love about this photo most is the coloring. Something about it adds a tinge of mystery...

I know he's not a rabbit, but he looks like he should be in Watership Down. Cool photo.
I love how the little glare or orb in the background looks like moons...adds to the Halloween feel of fall.

It looks like a hamster with an eating disorder. I'm not sure those little stumpy legs are actually functional.
Normally, I hate rodents but it looks like he's a bit near-sighted. I had a friend whose pet rat looked like that once. He was struggling to look at me from across the room. cute little guy.
This animal mind suffers from a guilty conscious. I a small act of animal cruelty this weekend. My friend Daisy asked me, "Have you ever just wanted to just... kick a pigeon?"
"Yeah! I have."
I just kicked it softly... not as hard as I wanted to. It's like kicking a soccer ball that flies so much furthr than anything you've ever kicked before.
Now that I've done that I don't have to do it again.
Nooooo....ok, pigeons are filthy little rat-birds, but kicking them?
