even rock stars get wrinkles
I hung out with a friend yesterday, and as she was talking I realized her age was starting to show in her face. And we're about the same age. It wasn't even wrinkles or anything. It was some unexplainable oldness. Here's Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth - check out her upper arm. It's not wrinkly, really, but it's old...Well, at least Jason captured her looking every bit the rock star, even at 50.

Beautiful. And there comes a time in life when wrinkles, folds, creases, are story lines... "the damage done", suitcases packed with leftovers, dirty laundry.... the "stuff" that was so very necessary to keep us rockin.... and rolling... I love it! Beautiful spirit, beautiful soul, beautiful skin....
